I build fast and engaging websites and web apps

I’m a freelance web developer from New Zealand. I’m self-taught and began coding in high school. I started working on freelance projects for local businesses in Nelson, and later expanded to agencies in Wellington and clients across the Tasman in Australia.

I began building websites with Python and Django, but nowadays I work primarily with modern JavaScript frameworks like Next.js and Astro, and headless CMS tools such as Sanity. This stack won me over because it makes it easy to get content set up quickly, so I can focus on building the front end of the site.

Along the way, I’ve worked in tech roles—including Weta FX as a Data Wrangler and Victoria University as a Full Stack Developer. I also founded and ran a coworking space in Wellington, which was a great way to connect with other freelancers and taught me valuable business skills.

These days, I enjoy travelling to new places, taking advantage of the fact that I can work from anywhere with just a laptop and a decent internet connection.

When I’m not writing code, you can find me riding motorcycles, enjoying nature and DJing.
